Workshop Aims to Help Area Latinos Overcome Barriers to College

Hispanic Scholarship FundWells Fargo and California State University Los Angeles are teaming up with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund to offer a unique program for both parents and students. This event is sponsored byWells Fargo.

What:              Steps for Success Saturday, a unique program offered by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund to help Latino parents and students navigate the complexities of the college admissions and financial aid process. The meeting is free and open to the public, and is held in both Spanish and English.

About HSF:     Founded in 1975, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund believes that the country prospers when all Americans have access to the opportunities a college education can afford.  As the nation’s leading Hispanic higher education fund, HSF works to address the barriers that keep many Latinos from earning a college degree. El Hispanic Scholarship Fund está conduciendo un programa único bilingüe enfocado hacia padres y estudiantes llamado Steps for Success Saturday en California State University, Los Angeles. Evento patrocinado por Wells Fargo

Que:                El Hispanic Scholarship Fund conducirá un Steps for Success Saturday para ayudar a la comunidad Latina a navegar a través de las complejidades de prepararse para la universidad, pagar por ella y aplicar por becas. La reunión es gratis y abierta a todo el público.
